Mr. James Howard Tyler age 67 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday April 11, 2014.
Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his parents, John Lester Tyler, Sr. and Leona Free Tyler; a son, James Carl Tyler; brothers, Emory and Charles Tyler.
Survivors include, wife, Carolyn Tyler of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Michelle Reid, Flora, IN and Eddie Tyler, Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Wayne McCollum, Chatsworth and Mandie Tyler and Wes Hicks, Calhoun; brother and sister-in-law, John Lester Tyler, Jr. and Judy Tyler, Lavonia, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Dick Babcock, Flora, IN; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday, April 14, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarkesville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-9 pm on Sunday.
