Janet Marie Gosnell Smith, age 69 of Frankfort, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Born in Kokomo, Indiana on September 8, 1950 to the late Everett and Velma Noblet Gosnell. She was a care taker with Habersham Retreat. Mrs. Smith loved reading, puzzle books and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Hubert Earl Smith; son, James Smith; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Liz & Michael Holcomb of Tiger; daughter-in-law, Bridget Smith of Frankfort, Indiana; grandchildren and spouse, Madison & Bryan Mason; Mason Crow, Morgan Crow, Jake Holcomb and Josh Holcomb; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris & Curt Stinnett of Pelzer, South Carolina, Judy Rudeseal and Betty Hathaway.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Brion Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Davy Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
