Janie Lee Dill Phillips, age 51, of Cornelia, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at her residence.
Born on August 15, 1959, in Habersham County, GA. Mrs. Phillips was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Enviromental Services.
She was preceded in death by her father Omer Dill.
Survivors include husband, Danny Phillips of Cornelia; daughter, Joni Phillips of Tiger; mother and step father, Joyce McEntire Wiley of Alto and Ezra Wiley of Cornelia; sisters, Glenda Roper of Hartwell, Jenny Povolny of Alto; brothers, Jimmy Dill of Cornelia, Cody Wiley of Lula; several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Chapel with Rev. Sanford Kimbrell and Rev. Dennis Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 pm on Wednesday.
