John Dante Barrett, age 72 of Cornelia, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Born in Vallejo, California on July 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Rose Lento Barrett and Danny Mangione. Mr. Barrett was retired from the aviation industry and attended Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Warren Barrett.
Surviving are wife of 52 years, Jane Gullic Barrett of Cornelia; son, David Barrett of Cornelia; daughter, Teri Smith of Oceanside, CA; one grandson and one great grandson.
Private services will be held at a later date.
