Jose Santos Albarran, age 40 of Commerce, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Born in Michoacan, Mexico on May 26, 1981, he was a son Jose Santos Albarran and Rutilia Albarran. Mr. Albarran was a grounds keeper with Chimney Oaks Golf Course.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Norma Lilia Garfias Albarran of Commerce; sons, Jose Santos and Darwin Albarran both of Commerce; daughters, Yamli Mareli Albarran and Mary Guadalupe both of Commerce; brothers, Serjio Albarran, Jorge Albarran, Antonio Albarran all of Texas, Proceso Albarran and Jose Albarran both of Athens, and Eleuterio Albarran of Commerce; sisters, Salvadora Albarran, Delia Albarran and Irelda Albarran all of Mexico.
A funeral mass will be held at 3:30 pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Athens with Father Paul Moreau officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Deacon Luis Polanco officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the funeral home.
Those in attendance are asked to please adhere to the public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
