Lynn “Lynnie” McEntire Biegeleisen, age 61 of Demorest, Georgia took her heavenly flight home on Monday, September 23, 2024 following an extended illness.
Born in Stephens County, Georgia on January 05, 1963, she was a daughter of Gary Benton McEntire of Demorest, Georgia & the late Linda Joyce Adams McEntire. Lynn was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1981 and a graduate of North Georgia Technical College, Class of 1983. She worked as a lab technician at SmithKline Clinical Laboratories for many years before retirement. Lynn enjoyed being outdoors, reading a good book, shopping, and photography in her spare time. She was an avid animal lover and was very generous to many different causes. Lynn loved the Lord and her family tremendously. She was a member of Line Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed, Sr. & Connice Fry McEntire; maternal grandmother, Helen Poole Hawkins & maternal step-grandfather, Ernest “Lit” Hawkins; as well as many uncles, and aunts.
Survivors include her dad, Gary B. McEntire of Demorest, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Lisa & Randy Barrett of Demorest, GA; sister, Kimberly McEntire of Lula, GA; nephew, Robby Barrett of Demorest, GA; special friend, Sarah Durand of Lula, GA; as well as many special cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 02, 2024 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 01, 2024.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Kimberly & Sarah for supporting Lynnie through these last several months of her life.
