JOYCE MARIE IRVIN HEIMBERGER, age 65 of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 following a brief illness.
Born in Gainesville, Georgia on October 24, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Minyard & Sarah Carter Irvin. Joyce retired in accounting from Higgins Construction after many years of service. She enjoyed time with her family, exercising, and reading her Bible. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her children, Steve, Jr. & Sherry Heimberger of Clarkesville, GA; Christopher Heimberger of Dahlonega, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Gail & David McElroy of Hartwell, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Michael & Ellen Irvin, Doug & Pat Irvin, all of Demorest, GA; grandchildren, Tara Marie Heimberger of Clarkesville, GA; Christopher Hendrix, Kaitlyn Hendrix, both of Cornelia, GA; great-grandchild, Samuel Hendrix of Cornelia, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
A private family service will be held at a later time.
