Joyce Manley Sosebee, age 62 of Clarkesville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in White County on June 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Lamar and Maude Cleveland Manley. Ms. Sosebee was retired from Habersham Mills and enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Dolly Williams and Galetta Farmer; brothers, Ed Taylor, R. L. Taylor, Ode Taylor and Junior Taylor.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Randy & Missy Cauley of Cornelia; daughter, Sarah Chandley of Clarkesville; brothers, Frank Manley of Toccoa and Johnny Manley of Cornelia; grandchildren, Kayla and Daniel Cauley and Victoria, Christopher, Brittany, Valarie, Harley and Jake Chandley.
Graveside services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Habersham Cemetery with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm on Tuesday.
