Kathy Diane Kelly Huey, age 59, of Alto, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Born on November 2, 1955, in Pensacola, FL, she was a daughter of Gilbert Kelly and Jewel Hodge Kelly. She was a member of The Torch and was a sixth grade math and science teacher for Habersham County.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huey was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Huey and brother, Ron Kelly.
Survivors include daughters Whitney Crooks of Alto and Lindsay Patterson of Hayesville, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Dennis Smith of Orlando, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Ed & Kay Kelly of Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law Pat Kelly; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Bishop Kevin Crooks officiating.
