Katrina Wood Robertson age 93 of Cornelia, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019.
Born in Batesville, Georgia on December 21, 1925 to the late Oliver John and Ella Smith Wood. Mrs. Robertson retired at the age of 82 from Piedmont Automotive after almost 40 years. She grew up a member of Providence Baptist Church and had been a member of Level Grove Baptist Church for the last 70 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Robertson; sisters, Hazel Hooper, Eunice Allen, Gertrude Smith and Estelle Adams.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, John & Wanda Robertson of Burke, Virginia, James Robertson of Atlanta; grandchildren, Brian Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Charles Robertson and Dr. Mary Read; great-grandchildren, Liam Robertson and Rowan Robertson; sisters, Pauline Morrison and Lougene Wall both of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, May 24, 2019 at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
