KENNEDY RUTHANN “SMURF” WRIGHT, age 16 of Clarkesville, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Stephens County, Georgia on August 03, 2000, Kennedy was an up and coming Junior at Habersham Central High School. She was a member of the Lady Raider Basketball Team and loved spending countless hours on the court. Kennedy was a proud big sister, enjoyed reading, and loved animals, especially her cat.
Survivors include her mother & step-father, Leah Popham Misencik & Garrett Misencik of Clarkesville, GA; father & step-mother, Matt & Allison Wright of Alto, GA; brothers, Lincoln Wright, Jaxon Shreves, Maverick Misencik, sister, Kailee Misencik all of Clarkesville, GA; grandparents, Wayne & Carol Popham of Clarkesville, GA; Bruce & Kathy Wright of Clayton, GA; special grandparents, Leesa “Baba” & Jeff “Papa” Anderson of Clarkesville, GA; numerous other special aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at Foothills Community Church in Cornelia with Mr. Mickey Carroll & Mr. Anthony Benfield officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 04, 2017.
