Lawrence Neal “Pete” Gunn, age 69 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on July 22, 1949 to the late Donald Everett Gunn and Audrey Alzena Watson. Mr. Gunn was a master sergeant in the United States Airforce having served his country proudly with 25 years of service. He served two tours in Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Robinson Gunn; sister, Carol Ann Gunn.
Surviving are his sister, Susan Kay Simmons of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Terry D. & Margaret Gunn of Littlefield, Texas; nephews & niece, James & Dana Simmons of Homer; Hurley Gunn, Grand Prairie, TX; James Bond, Lubbock, TX; great niece, Audri Simmons.
Mr. Gunn’s wishes were to be cremated.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
