Leeola Worley

March 15, 1940 — December 10, 2020

Leeola Smith Worley, age 80 of Cornelia, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

Born in Mount Airy, Georgia on March 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John Ezekiel Smith and Edith Lee Eller Smith. Mrs. Worley worked in housekeeping and was a nursing home attendant with Habersham County Medical Center for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing Bingo at the VFW Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, “CL” Clari Worley; daughter, Katie Chambers; brothers, Troy McIntyre, Robert McIntyre and Charles McIntyre.

Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Manning of Demorest; Linda Loudermilk of Toccoa; son , Mitchell Dill of Alto; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Wiley and Sylvia Dill both of Alto, Kitty Herrin of Lula; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Worley’s wishes were to be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
