Linda Kay Chaffin, age 54, of Baldwin, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on July 22, 1957, she was a daughter of the late George and Louise Free Williams. Mrs. Chaffin was formerly employed with Beall’s Outlet as a cashier and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed photography and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Carlton Lee “Mickey” Williams and Brittany Nicole Williams.
Survivors include husband, Michael Chaffin of the home; daughters, Connie Williams Aguilar of Clarkesville and Wilma Williams of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Louise & Jacky Henson of Alto; sisters, Judy Armour of Clarkesville and Joyce Hunnicutt of Demorest; also eight grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday, February 6, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Bobby Hattaway, Rev. Terry Benfield, Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery with Rev. Ted Armour officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday.
