Linda Louise Gravitt Butler, age 66 of Cornelia, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Forsyth County, on June 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Luther Gravitt and Fannie Mae Williamson Gravitt. Mrs. Butler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia and enjoyed making crafts. She was also a volunteer at Cornelia Soup Kitchen.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, David Gravitt.
Survivors include sons, Timmy Thomas of Dawsonville, Jimmy Thomas of Banks County, Joey Thomas of Cornelia, and Bobby Thompson of Toccoa; daughter, Tammy Newhart of Ellijay; brother, Loney Gravitt of Cleveland; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 08, 2014, from the First Baptist Church of Cornelia with Dr. Eric Spivey officiating.
