Lisa Thomas, age 60 of Hayesville, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018.
Born in Habersham County, Georgia on January 29, 1958, she was a daughter of Rosa Lee Wheeler Whitworth of Mt. Airy and the late Howard Whitworth. She enjoyed fishing, camping and reading. Mrs. Thomas was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Daniel Thomas of Landcaster, Ohio and Brian Thomas of Demorest; daughter, Regina Wallace of Suwannee; brothers, Curtis Whitworth of Dunwoody and Cliff Whitworth of Carnesville; sister, Trish Berliner of Flowery Branch; 4 grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
