LOREAN J. SMALLEY, age 93 of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 03, 2014 at the Habersham Home West following an extended illness.
Born in Camden, West Virginia on April 27, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Martha Butcher Marks. She was a Practical Nurse for many years between Ohio and Florida. Mrs. Smalley was affectionately known as Grandma to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Wolcott, second husband, Ritchie Smalley, son, Richard Wolcott, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherrie (Bernard) Cramer, Demorest, GA; Sandra (Jerry) Crook, Kissimmee, FL; Robin (George) Marshall, Dunnellon, FL; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Mrs. Smalley’s wishes were to be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
