Louie Banks McConnell, age 84 of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Born on November 30, 1938, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Paul and Emma Cash McConnell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Paul McConnell, Jr. and Frank McConnell; and sisters, Willie Mae McConnell and Betty Jean Underwood.
Survivors include sisters, Lois McConnell, Annie Loudermilk, and Mable McAllister all of Mt. Airy; brothers, Tommy Lee McConnell of Cornelia, and William McConnell of Clarkesville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are 11 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor James Lyons officiating.
All family and friends should meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am on Wednesday.
