EDWARD TYLER, age 54 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County, Georgia on March 26, 1963, he was a son of the late James Pearson Tyler & Mary Dalton Tyler. Edward was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He loved fishing and traveling to the mountains. Edward also enjoyed barbequing and spending time with his family. He was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Tyler & Jake Tyler both of Alto, GA; daughter, Heather Spiva of Baldwin, GA; brother, Loyd Tyler of Alto, GA; sisters, Glenda Simmons of Homer, GA and Barbara Garrison of Alto, GA; grandchildren, Abigail & Jayden, nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am until 2 pm on Saturday prior to the graveside service.
