Loyd McNabb, age 88 of Demorest, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at The Oaks at Scenic View.
Born on November 23, 1926, he was a son of the late Olen and Mae Smith McNabb. Mr. McNabb retired from the Habersham County Road Department and attended Fairfield Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie & Arvil Irvin.
Surviving are brother and sister-in-law, Jay & Rachel McNabb of Baldwin; sister, Grace McDuffie of the Hollingsworth Community; also five nephews and six nieces survive.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Monday.
