Lynn Nell Harris Morgan, age 72 of Baldwin, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on October 30, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Charles Idus Harris and Mary Lilliston James Harris. Lynn loved her church family, and was a faithful and active member of Camp Creek Baptist for many years. There she taught Sunday School and worked in the Awana program. She was also a teacher in the “Good News Club”, an after school program at Cornelia and Clarkesville Elementary. She had a beautiful voice and used that talent to sing praises to her Savior. She enjoyed reading and loved to knit and crochet. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her prayer was that her family would always love the Lord and serve Him.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ellis Morgan; son, David Truett Morgan; sister, Nancy Hunnicutt.
Surviving are her son, Dennis “Tater” Morgan of Cornelia; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy & Bryan Zimmerman of Cornelia, Paula & Seth Larsen of Toccoa and Jeannie & Michael Garrett of Clarkesville; daughter-in-law, Beverly Morgan of Cornelia; grandchildren, Jonathan Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Megan Zimmerman, Emelia Larsen, Ethan Larsen, Kalebbe Garrett, Quentin Garrett, Cameron Garrett and Karina Garrett; great-grandchildren, Taylen Morgan and Annabella Morgan; brother, Charles A. Harris of Cleveland; sisters, Cherrie Cottrell of Mt. Airy and Renee Carr of Clarkesville; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the funeral home.
