Mr. Lynn Alton Simmons, age 62, of Alto, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Born on September 13, 1961, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Coy and Ruth Martin Simmons. Mr. Simmons worked in maintenance at the Shasta Corporation and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Simmons.
Survivors include his wife, Sonia Moody Simmons of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Casey Simmons (Mary Beth) of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Jodie Bochat (Kevin) of Demorest; grandchildren: Maddox Simmons, Tucker Simmons, Oakley Simmons, Walker Bochat, and Hailey Bochat; sister, Sharon Allen of Alto; and several other family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Jeryle Roach officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the funeral home.
