Magdalene Morris Parson, 87 of Lula, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018.
Born in Jackson County, Georgia on April 22, 1931 to the late Maxie and Bulah Morris. Mrs. Parson was a homemaker and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Parson; brother, Herbert Morris; sister, Maxine Kesler.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Dexter & Debbie Parson and Danny Parson & Tina all of Lula; grandchildren, Daniel Parson, Paul Parson, Nita Charette, Mallory Crane and Jessica Parson; great grandchildren, Aubree, Charlie, Katy, Declan, Parks, Rylen and Noah; several nieces, nephews, a host of friends and other family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Wednesday, September 12, 208 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Banks County with Rev. Ralph O. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat United Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
