Margaret Boulware Prince, age 76 of Clarkesville, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born in UnionCounty on August 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Bennett Boulware. She was a homemaker and member of BethesdaBaptistChurch in Whitmire, SC. She enjoyed participating in the craft activities at the adult daycare center and she also enjoyed painting. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Prince; sisters, Sarah Malone, Mary Quarters and Nanny Southenland and brother, O. T. “Junior” Boulware.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Martin Boulware & Arlene Whitlock of Demorest; sister, Brenda White of Newberry, SC; brothers, P. Y. Boulware of Newberry, SC, Donald Boulware of Whitmire, SC, Charles Boulware and Bobby Boulware both of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca Boulware, Jamie Whitlock and James Whitlock.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010, at BethesdaBaptistChurch in Whitmire, SC, with Rev. Bobby Lowman officiating. Interment will follow in the LeeBaptistChurchCemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from noon until the service hour.
