Maria Lara Martinez age 37 of Alto, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Born in San Andres Enguaro, Yuriria, Mexico on October 3, 1980, she was a daughter of Jesus Lara and Maria Sara de Lara of Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her church and church family. Mrs. Martinez was a member of Prince of Peace Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 18 years, Leopoldo Zavala of Alto; daughters, Yaneli Zavala and Emili Zavala both of Alto; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jaime Lara & Maritza Mora, Antonio Lara & Maria Ramirez, Jose Luiz Lara & Angelica Aguilera, Fabian Lara & Rosalva Contreras, Jesus Lara & Jessica Zavala; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tereza Lara, Maria Paramo & Ricardo Paramo, Josefina Lara & Enrique Mora, Gabriela Lara, Leticia Lara & Manuel Vallejo, Maria Luz Lara & Juan Paramo; brothers-in-law and spouses, Humberto Zavala & Rosa Isela, Jose M. Zavala, Alfonzo Zavala; sisters-in-law and spouses, Margarito Zavala & Pascual Charicata, Esmeralda Zavala & Jose Gusman.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Prince of Peace Church located at 734 W. Airport Rd., Cornelia, GA 30531 with Pastor Samuel Negron officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
