Mary Frances Mullinax Colston, age 81 of Cornelia, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Clarence Mullinax and Lora Ophelia Allen Mullinax. Mrs. Colston worked for Piedmont Automotive as a Pre Assembler for many years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a loving mother and nana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lonzo Colston; son, Charles Russell Colston; sister, Betty Stamey.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Danny & Jan Colston of Clarkesville; grandson, Andrew Russell Colston; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Wesley Purcell and Rev. Chris York officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
