Mary Ramey Lovell, age 87 of Cornelia, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Sparta, Georgia on August 7, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Homer Fred Ramey and Ethel Trotter Ramey. Mrs. Lovell was retired from the retail industry and was of the Christian faith. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, reading, and crafts of all varieties, especially crafts with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lovell was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Lovell; brother, Bill Ramey; and sister, Irene Bloodworth; son-in-law, Kenneth Carter.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Susan Carter Wehunt & Morris Wehunt of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny & Martha Lovell of Cleveland; brother, Jimmy Ramey of Cornelia; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
