Mitchell Maney, age 39 of Demorest, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Hall County on September 12, 1974, he was a son of Lexine Sewell Maney of Demorest and Wallace Richard Maney of Cornelia. Mr. Maney was of the Baptist faith. In his spare time, he was an avid wrestling and baseball fan. He also enjoyed coaching his son in Little League baseball games.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Griffin Maney of Demorest; daughter, Macy Maney of Demorest; grandchild, Landon Sosebee of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Vivian Maney of Cleveland; niece, Lakeyda Underwood of Cornelia; maternal grandmother, Nancy Sewell of Demorest.
Graveside services are 2:00 pm Monday, June 23, 2014, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terry Rice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
