Myron Arthur Hunt, 74 of Banks County passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
Born in Gwinnett County, Georgia on June 9, 1941, Mr. Hunt was a son of the late Arthur Guy & Cammie Lee Maddox Hunt. Mr. Hunt attended Union Hill Baptist Church and in his spare time loved fishing, camping, hiking, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Morris Hunt.
Survivors include wife, Reba Youngblood Hunt; son and daughter-in-law, David & Donna Hunt; daughter and son-in-law, DeAnn & Jody Cobb; grandchildren, Alyssa Hunt, Ethan Cobb, and Danah Hunt, all of Banks County.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Terrell Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Reid officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Wednesday and also from 12:30 pm until the funeral hour on Thursday.
