Nancy Lucille Harris Hunnicutt, age 63, of Baldwin, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at The Oaks at Scenic View following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on August 13, 1947, she was the daughter of Mary J. Harris of Clarkesville and the late Charles I. Harris. She was a homemaker and enjoyed decorating, cooking and antiques. Ms. Hunnicutt was a Christian who lived her faith every day.
In addition to her mother survivors include children; Keith Harris, Trini and Troy Dills, Media and Shane Foster, Dawn Hunnicutt, Derek Hunnicutt; siblings, Lynn and Joe Morgan, Cherrie and Bill Cottrell, Charles and Melinda Harris, Renee’ Carr; 8 grandchildren, Alice Harris, Katelan Harris, Andrew Harris, Tara Dills, Tifanie Thompson, Kaylee Thompson, Austin Smith, Colt Irvin; two great grandchildren, Charity Wright, Constance Wright; several nieces and nephews and close friends also survive.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart. Interment will follow in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
