Nell Bentley Barfield, age 71, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Habersham Home.
Born in Tallapoosa, Georgia, on June 13, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Floy Bentley and the late Zadie Thompson Bentley Brown. Mrs. Barfield was formerly employed with The Salvation Army and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed sewing in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barfield was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Barfield; sisters, Elba Hubbard and Fay Willer.
Survivors include daughters, Bonita Miller of Toccoa and Janine Henning of Winston, Georgia; grandson, Justin Miller of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home, 5935 Mulberry Street, Austell, Georgia 30168. Interment will follow at 1 pm in Crest Lawn Cemetery, 2000 Marietta Boulevard, N.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30318.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday at Roy Davis Funeral Home.
