Officer Brian McNair, age 53, of Clarkesville, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020.
Born on August 7, 1966, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late John D. and Patricia Petty McNair. OFC McNair was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Army National Guard. He not only served his country, but he also served his community as a Deputy Sheriff with Hall County Sheriff’s Office. OFC McNair was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy McNair of Clarkesville; sons: Joseph McNair, Patrick McNair, William McNair, and Isaac McNair; daughters: Sarah McNair, Rose McNair, Isabella McNair, Maureen McNair, and Catherine McNair; and brother, John McNair of Melbourne, FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for OFC McNair.
