Patricia Ann Wright Benson, age 83, of Clarkesville, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Born on October 9, 1936, in Pensacola, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Claude Hamilton and Nolda Louise Dormer Wright. Mrs. Benson worked for the Gwinnett County School System as a Parapro for 24 years. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Robert Wright.
Survivors include her husband, James Milton Benson of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jackie Benson of Flowery Branch; daughters and son-in-law, Jami and David Baugus of Lilburn and Laura Benson of Cumming; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Claude Wright of Alabama and Michael Randolph Wright of Louisiana; and sister, Claudette White of Missouri.
Private services will be held at a later date.
