Paul Dennis Allen

Paul Dennis Allen, age 62 of Hollywood, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on May 23, 1951, he was the son of Paul S. Allen of Demorest and the late Emma Belle Williams Allen. Mr. Allen was currently employed in maintenance with North Georgia Technical College where he had 10 years of service. He retired from Clarkesville Mills where he had 32 years of service. Mr. Allen was a faithful and dedicated member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he served as a chairman on the board of trustees. He was very active in the Boy Scout Troop 5 of Clarkesville where he had over 25 years of service. He also was a member of the Order of the Arrow. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, electronics, watching movies, and reading. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include wife of 34 years, Terri Marcus Allen of Hollywood; daughter, Kristy Allen of Hollywood; son, Justin Allen of Hollywood; son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Christina Allen of Decatur; brother, Shawn Allen of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Jo Anne Allen of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Paul Allen, Jase Allen, and Emma Green; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2013, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Richard Pletsch officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Tony Kemp officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday.
