PAULINE BROCK BROWN, age 83 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 07, 2017.
Born in the Hollingsworth Community of Banks County, Georgia on November 11, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Joe Brock & Minnie Broome Brock. Mrs. Brown was retired from Mount Vernon Mills with over 40 years of dedicated service. Pauline loved her family tremendously and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandbabies. She was also an avid gardener and doted over her little dog, Rose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Brown and twenty brothers & sisters.
Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Phyllis & Randall Moore, son, Joey Brown, special claimed daughter/niece, Pat Brock all of Mt. Airy, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Duckett & Ethelyn Brock, sister-in-law, Imogene Brock all of Baldwin, GA; grandchildren, Marley Barrett, Mindy Nix, both of Mt. Airy, GA; great-grandchildren, Alexia Barrett, Jayda Gibby, Peyton Gibby, Emiley Gibby, & Chloe Gibby, all of Mt. Airy, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Franklin and Rev. Ray Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the private family plot at the Welcome Home Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
