Pearl Williams

Pearl Forester Williams, age 81, of Cornelia, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Habersham County on January 08, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Rossie and Geneva Powers Forester. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. Williams Jr.; sons, Roger Williams and Ottis Williams.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Habersham County and lived most of her life in Habersham. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams retired as a Dietician and had worked with Habersham County School Systems and Head Start.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Donna Williams of Bethlehem, GA and Tommy and Benita Williams of Alto. Daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Ronnie Franklin of Alto, Cathy and Garry Hough of Mooresville, North Carolina and Tonia and Raymond Franklin of Turnerville, GA. Sister, Edna Brady of Cornelia; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Chris York, Rev. Austin Kelly and Rev. Don Samples officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2–4 and 6-9 p.m. on Monday.
