Phillip A. Martin, age 44 of the Fairview Community, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on February 15, 1967, he was the son of the late Mary Ann McCellan Martin. Mr. Martin was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, tubing and shooting pool.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Curtis & Betty Ann Martin of the Fairview Community; daughters, Kelsey Martin of Lineville, AL and Joy Noel Martin of Murphy, NC; brother, David Martin of Baldwin; sister, Donna Nix of Demorest; granddaughter, Emilie Dow.
No formal services are planned at this time for Mr. Martin.
