Rebecca Lynne “Becky” Hodges Simmons age 38, of Baldwin, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Hall County on June 04, 1972, she was the daughter of Robert and Jan Gullic Hodges.Mrs. Simmons was a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church and was a 1989 graduate of White County High School.She attended North Georgia College, Piedmont College and held a bachelors degree in education.Mrs. Simmons was employed with the White County Board of Education.In her spare time she enjoyed working with flowers and singing.Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Robie Gullic and Bob and Ann Hodges.
Survivors include husband, Henry L. Simmons of Baldwin; son, Rhylan Simmons of Baldwin; parents, Robert and Jan Hodges of Cleveland; sister, Leigh Ann Padilla of Yuma, Arizona; niece, Jordanne Thomas of Yuma, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 11, 2011 at Mossy Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Nancy Hicks and Rev. Jamie Harvey officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Thursday.
