Robbin Lynn Davis Chitwood, 57, of Lula, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013.
She was born December 20, 1955 in Commerce, GA. Robbin graduated from Banks County High School. She was married to Douglas Chitwood on September 9, 1972 and recently celebrated their 40 years of marriage.
Robbin had many roles in her family – daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life devoted to raising her children and grandchildren. Robbin always said her greatest accomplishment was her family.
Robbin is survived by her husband Doug, two sons Sam and Clint, and two grandchildren Emmalyn and Cole. She joins in Heaven her beloved mother Meldred Meeks Sims.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 15 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Lula. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
