Robert Lee Myrick, age 53 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Emory University Hospital.
Born in Hamburg, Germany on August 04, 1959, he was the son of Mary Nelson Myrick of Cartersville and the late William Guice Myrick. Mr. Myrick was employed with Ram Partners, LLC where he was a regional maintenance specialist. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed NASCAR, spending time with family and working.
Surviving are wife, Brenda M. Myrick of Demorest; son, Christopher Myrick of Atlanta; daughters, Angela Myrick of Adairsville, Tammie Myrick of Rome, Chasity and Charlene Myrick both of Atlanta; step son, Amon Jones of Toccoa; brother, William G. Myrick of Cartersville; seven grandchildren.
Memorial services are 4:00 pm Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Lena McGahee, 170 Thomas St. Apt A, Cornelia, GA 30531.
