ROGER PAUL LAPRADE, age 71 of Alto, passed away on Sunday, October 02, 2016 following an extended illness.
Born in Washington, D.C. on March 13, 1945, he was a son of the late Joe Paul & Margaret Lee Rogers LaPrade. Mr. LaPrade was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Clarkesville. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting knives, and spending time at the beach.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cathy Carter LaPrade of Alto; sons, Jason LaPrade of Watkinsville, GA, Josh LaPrade of Mableton, GA, Joel LaPrade of Hendersonville, NC; step-son, Billy Stills of Alto, GA; sister, Diane Clark of Atlanta, GA; and 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 06, 2016 from the Athens Church of Christ.
