Roy Lee Keller, age 57 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, at his residence.
Born in Habersham County on December 2, 1958, he was a son of Kirby Lee Keller and Joann Anderson Keller of Mt. Airy. Mr. Keller was the owner and operator of Lake Russell Convenience and former owner and operator of K & K Convenience, both in Mt. Airy. He was a member of Good News Baptist Church and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a pool shark.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Belinda Sue Keller of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey & Jessica Keller of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy & Nathanael Fouts of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Victor & Burma Keller of Franklin, NC; five grandchildren; mother-in-law, Shirley Kimbrell and father-in-law, Donald Kimbrell.
Funeral services are 2 pm Monday, March 21, 2016, from Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery with full military honors provided by Grant Reeves Post 7720, American Legion Post 84, Rabun County DAV Chapter 15, and the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday.
