Sharon L. Coker Stewart, age 67 of Macon and formerly of Habersham County, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at her residence.
Born in Habersham County on June 27, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Ford and Grace Watson Coker. Mrs. Stewart was retired from the banking industry with 42 years of service. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jim Gunnels.
Surviving are husband of 50 years, Roy Stewart of Macon; son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Maria Stewart of Locust Grove; sister, Gail Gunnels of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Mason Ford Stewart, Morgan Amelia Stewart, and Vanessa Rose Stewart.
Funeral services are 12:30 pm Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Shore and Rev. Russ Barker officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Friday.
