Shirley Ann Irvin Worley, age 68, of Oakwood, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in White County on February 8, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Clinton Telford Irvin and the late Gladys Lee Hogan Irvin Rogers. Mrs. Worley was a member of Belton Baptist Church of Lula. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by her son, Russell Worley; brother, Curtis Irvin; and sister, Brenda Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Worley, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Moore, of the home; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Dorothy Irvin, and Tommy and Bernice Irvin, all of Mt. Airy.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Belton Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday and from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday.
