Tim Holcomb, age 67 of Demorest, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020.
Born on May 6, 1953, in Gainesville, Georgia, he was the son of Barbara Reed Holcomb of Cornelia and the late Kenneth Holcomb. Mr. Holcomb was a self-employed independent sales contractor and attended Level Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer who also refereed basketball for the local recreation departments, high schools and some college for over 25 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on trips to the beach.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Holcomb is also survived by his wife, Susan Hardy Holcomb of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Emily Holcomb of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Tom Jones of Alto; niece, Rae Jones of Alto.
Funeral services are 11 am on Friday, September 25, 2020 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Brian James and Mr. Matt Holcomb officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
