Tony Richard Lee age 67, of Clarkesville, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Born on February 2, 1956, in Westminster, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Ronnie Brown Lee and Mary Virginia Whitman Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired logger/truck driver. In earlier years he worked for Tugalo Pipeline, Smith Logging, Alexander Farms, and Cornelia Veneer Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, horseback riding and beekeeping. Tony loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, he was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Lee, Curtis Lee, Jack Lee, Mitchell Lee, and Ralph Lee; sisters, Syble Goss and Cheryl Lee.
Survivors include his loving wife, Quilla (Jean) Stewart Lee of Clarkesville; daughters and son-in-law, Marci Lee (Fiancé Ramsey) of Martin, LaQuilla Berkshire (J.), and Amy Lee all of Clarkesville; eight grandchildren, Mystery, Gracie, Ryder, Addison, Lance, Preston, Luke, and Peyton; sisters, Mary Lee, Linda Smith both of Westminster, and Sally Sinacori of Wahalla; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special dog (only son) Conway Richard Lee.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023 at McGahee – Griffin & Stewart funeral home.
