Anthony Richard “Tony” Vanore, age 67 of Alto, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Patterson, New Jersey on June 19, 1947, he was a son of the late Anthony Vanore and the late Betty Cabrel Brescia. Mr. Vanore was a self-employed auto body repairman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and NASCAR. He also raised goats and exotic birds.
Survivors include wife, Sherry Vanore of Alto; son, Tony Vanore of Torrance, California; grandson, Anthony Vanore, Jr.; sister, Janet Vanore of Rochester, New York.
Memorial services are 2:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Bethesda Fellowship Church, 2555 Duncan Bridge Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531, with Rev. Trent Campbell officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and immediately following the service on Saturday, at Bethesda Fellowship Church.
