Virginia C. Blaskow age 84, of Sugar Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Born on November 28, 1938, in Gainesville, she was a daughter of the late Ben Carter and Hallie Tench Carter. Mrs. Blaskow retired from Hayes Microcomputers Chip Board Manufacturing. In her spare time, Virginia enjoyed being outdoors, flowers, watching birds and loved her dog, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Conrad Blaskow; son, Steven Forrest Blaskow; brothers, Joe, Robert, Jack, James, and Grady Carter; and sister, Elizabeth Warwick.
Survivors include daughter, Jill Blaskow of Sugar Hill; grandchild, Taylor Blaskow of Anderson, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Ziyah Blakely and Anias Blakely; brother, Johnny Carter of Demorest; and very dear friend, A. J. Trimble.
Memorial services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
