Virginia Lamariel East, age 81 of Clayton, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021.
Born in Rising Fawn, Georgia on March 20, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Lee Autry and Etta Jane McKaig Autry. Mrs. East was a carpet manufacturing inspector with Mohawk for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. East.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy & Darlene Owens of Rising Fawn, Robert Owens of Arizona; daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Jim Harris of Clarkesville; 1 grandchild; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Joan Miller of Rising Fawn.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, 297 Greenhill Memorial Garden Rd., Summerville, GA 30747.
