Virgle Miles “Tiny” Wheeler, Jr., age 65, of Demorest, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Born on June 06, 1959, in Hiawassee, Georgia, he was a son to the late Virgle Miles Wheeler, Sr. and Arlissa Green Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler worked for many years at Kubota as a security guard and he attended Clear View Baptist Church when he could.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Thompson Wheeler; brother, Larry Wheeler; sisters, Sue Wilson, Mae Wilson, Sarah Gunn, Cathy Ross.
Survivors include his sisters, Linda Dyer of Hiwassee, Vickie Ledford of Murrayville, Georgia, Joan Rodgers of Braselton; brothers, David Wheeler of Demorest, and Michael Wheeler of Hayesville, North Carolina; several other relatives, & friends.
Mr. Wheeler’s wishes were to be cremated.
The family will receive friends at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The family of Mr. Wheeler would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Northeast Georgia Medical Center- Gainesville for taking care of Mr. Wheeler.
